Who is responsible
AGIF — Agência para a Gestão Integrada de Fogos Rurais — is the controller of the personal data held here. Contact details are on the About page.
What is held
For everyone with an account: name and honorific, email address, work telephone number, job description, organisation and its website, country, and optionally a photograph, an organisation logo and a curriculum vitae. For subject matter experts, also a biography and areas of expertise. For everyone: the language you chose, when you signed in last, and a record of the actions you took on the platform.
Why it is held
To operate a professional directory that lets people working on integrated fire management find and contact one another, to run cooperation exchanges between organisations, and to keep an auditable record of administrative actions.
Legal basis
Your data is held on the basis of your consent, given when you request an account or accept an invitation, and on the basis of the public interest task AGIF carries out in coordinating integrated fire management.
Who can see it
Your directory entry is visible to everyone signed in to the platform. It is not public and is not indexed by search engines. Administrators can see all records; the point of contact for your country can see and edit the experts they registered. Data is not sold, and is not shared with third parties for their own purposes.
Where it is processed
The platform runs on infrastructure operated for AGIF. Outgoing email is delivered through a mail provider configured by AGIF. No analytics, advertising or content delivery services are used, and the pages load nothing from third-party servers.
How long it is kept
Your directory entry is kept while your account is open. Closing your account removes you from the directory. Audit records, which include a note of actions and the content of comments you posted, are retained for accountability and are cleared only by an administrator.
Your rights
You may see the data held about you, correct it, ask for it to be erased, object to its processing, or ask for a copy. You can edit most of your own details from your profile, and close your account there. For anything else, contact AGIF. You also have the right to complain to the national supervisory authority.
Cookies
This platform sets three cookies: one to keep you signed in, one to remember the language you chose, and one to remember whether you prefer a light or dark screen. All three are strictly necessary for it to work, none is used for tracking, and no third-party cookies are set.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed and are never readable. Links sent by email are stored hashed as well, are single-use and expire. Access is over HTTPS, and administrative actions are logged.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
